A complaint had been registered in Bunder police station that one Zhora along with others had cheated a person from Kerala promising him of supplying diamong stones. According to the complaint, she had taken away about Rs 5 lakh.
The arrested are M Bhavani (64) and her son Mithun alias Manu (28) from Sooterpet, Mahesh (25) from Morgan’s Gate and Mohammed Hanif (22) from Kuttarpadav. DCIB Inspector Venkatesh Prasanna told Deccan Herald that two persons including the main accused Zhora are yet to be detained.
