JOIN USCricketer Harbhajan Singh tied the nuptial knot with his girlfriend and actress Geeta Basra in a traditional ceremony at a Sikh shrine in Jalandhar on Thursday.
Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali and many other from the cricketing world attended the wedding.
The 35-year-old spinner has been in a relationship with Geeta for some time now.
The wedding events have been spread over five days, culminating with a grand reception on November 1 in the national capital.
Wednesday saw a fun-studded sangeet ceremony of dance and music at a posh club in Punjab's Jalandhar. Both Harbhajan and Geeta danced together. The posed on a rickshaw, finely decorated with all colourful flowers, with Geeta on the rear seat.
On his wedding day, Harbhajan wore a white-red designer outfit while his better-half Geeta was draped in a red-golden designer lehenga.
