Deccan Herald will hold the second annual DH Dialogue at The Oberoi hotel here on Saturday, with the theme “The Asia-Pacific Century: India and Big Power Engagement”.
BJP general-secretary Ram Madhav will deliver the inaugural address. Former diplomat and JD(U) MP Pawan K Varma will chair the inaugural session. China’s Ambassador to India Le Yucheng and former Union minister and Congress leader Manish Tewari will deliver special address.
Two sessions
In the first panel session, Vietnam’s Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh will deliver a lecture on “Managing Regional Security in the Age of Integration.”
The second session will focus on economic and trade dynamics of the rising Asia-Pacific. Eminent scholars will take part in both the sessions. The first DH Dialogue was held here on December 13 last year, with the theme “Shaping the 21st Century: India, US and China”.
