JOIN USNew entrants Ozone Bengaluru FC defeated seasoned campaigners CIL 4-2 in the BDFA Super Division League at the Bangalore Football Stadium here on Monday.
Vivekananda opened the scoring for Ozone Bengaluru in the 14th minute before Anto Xavier made it 2-0 in the 29th minute.
Don Bosco then added a third in the 58th minute as Ozone Bengaluru appeared headed towards a lop-sided win. But things started to change in the very next minute when Santosh pulled one back for CIL.
The seasoned campaingers started to push Ozone Bengaluru with veteran striker RC Prakash slotting a second in the 75th minute as tension grew.
Dinesh, however, made sure Ozone Bengaluru signed off on a happy note, scoring the fourth goal a minute from the end.
