Workshop on apiculture

 
Addressing the inaugural of the workshop, Zilla Panchayat in-charge president President N B Babu said one should have interest to take up agriculture as an occupation.

Speaking on the occasion, RUDSET Director Amarnath Hegde said there are 23 RUDSET training institutions in 14 states.

“Honey is always in demand as it forms major ingredient of ayurveda medicine. It helps in reducing weight. Apiculture will yield profit when worked out in a systematic manner,” said District Industrial Centre Joint Director S G Hegde.

Deputy Director G Deveraj, former ZP president Raju Poojary, farmer Mumtaz Ali and others were present on the occasion.
