A secretary of an educational society was stabbed by two unknown men on Thursday night. The incident occurred a day before the golden jubilee celebrations of the educational society.
According to SR Nagar police, the incident took place when Subhan Shareef, the secretary of Al Ameen Education Society, who stays at Shivajinagar, was moving in a car along with his son at 10.30 pm.
The two miscreants followed him on a bike and waylaid his car at Richmond Circle. They picked a fight with them, stabbed him and his son and escaped. Shareef and his son were rushed to a hospital and treated for injuries on head and abdomen.
