Coles batted first and put up a competitive total of 252 for six thanks to Ebrahim’s 93 and Kiran’s 73 while Narayan Swamy shone for Young Boy’s with figures of three for 37.
Venkatesh’s half century (51) was not enough for Young Boy’s as they folded for 225 all out in 47.2 overs. Abhilash ER was the chief destructor for Coles as he bagged four for 51 while being ably supported by Yashas GL (2/29) and Shantharaju G (3/39).
Shashwath Gowda’s five for 39 went in vain as Canara Union Cricket Club went down to Sirur Park Sports Club by two wickets in another fixture. Canara Union were bowled out for 198 in 47.4 overs and Sirur ended on 199/8 in 48 overs to complete the win.
