<p> Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) has told the government to rectify the inverted duty structure for electrical goods, said Aaditya Dhoot, Organising Committee Chairman, Elecrama. <br /><br /></p>.<p>“We see in most of the cases, the duty on raw materials is higher than the duty on the finished products,” said Dhoot.<br /><br />“This inverted duty structure has been rectified for some sectors. We have requested the government on that,” he added. <br /><br />He also said that they have requested the government for providing a level playing field. <br />“We have always maintained that we do not want any extra benefits, but we expect a level playing field,” he said. <br /><br /></p>
