Ashish shines as SBI edge past Indiabulls

Ashish C Joshi produced an all-round performance as State Bank of India eked out an eight-run win over Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited in the KSCA Group-II, Division-II cricket tournament here.

SBI batted first and put up a total of 116 in 28.4 overs, with Ashish scoring a valuable 44 runs. Preetham PV (2/18) and Sudheer (2/15) claimed two wickets each for Indiabulls.

In response, Indiabulls were bundled out for a mere 108 in 19 overs. Ashish (5/27) again came to the fore, bagging a five-wicket haul for SBI.
