JOIN USKannada film actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi, who are locked in a domestic dispute, are likely to appear before the Karnataka State Women’s Commission on Monday. The Commission has issued summons to the two and has decided to conduct an inquiry on Monday.
“A suo motu case was registered based on media reports and summons were issued to them. Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi have agreed to appear before the Commission on Monday. They have requested the Commission to conduct the hearing at an undisclosed location, Commission chairperson Manjula Manasa told reporters.
“Darshan has already appeared before the police for interrogation. We have requested DCP (South) BS Lokesh Kumar to provide information based on his statements,” she said.
Police are yet to record statements of Vijayalakshmi and her apartment security guard Devaraj. The South Division police said they could not contact Vijayalakshmi despite making a few calls to her. Police will record the statements of Vijayalakshmi and Devaraj and close the case, police said.
