Rescued Hyderabad girl complains to cops

A teenage girl from Hyderabad, working as a maid at a paying guest (PG) accommodation who was rescued recently, has lodged a complaint at V V Puram station. In her complaint, the girl has sought action against her employer and another woman, who got her the job.

Rani Oyella, who runs a PG accommodation at No 1176, Eighth Main, Gokulam Third Stage, was accused of harassing the girl. Sharmila, who somehow came in contact with the girl in question, had introduced her to Oyella.

Acting on a tip-off, Odanadi Seva Samsthe activists, along with police personnel, had raided the PG house and rescued the girl on April 22.

Tripura boy missing

A student of Mahabodhi School at Saraswatipuram here is missing from May 11.In his complaint to police, principal Bhootesh has stated that Momog, son of Neegyamog, Hajachari, Gothamipura district, Tripura, was studying in the school.

He was staying in the hostel attached to the school. According to the hostel warden, he was not seen around 10 am on May 11.

It is suspected that the student may have been kidnapped, as all efforts to trace him, by the school authorities failed.Two vehicles stolen.

In separate cases, a jeep and a two-wheeler have been stolen in Mysuru. Venkate Urs, a resident of Saraswatipuram, has stated that he had parked his Mahindra Scorpio jeep (KA 09 N 7959) in front of his house on May 9. The following day, it was not there. A case has been registered.

In another case, a Hero Honda Passion Plus mobike, parked in front of the house on Fifth Main, Kuvempunagar, is suspected to be stolen.

In his complaint, vehicle owner Prashanth Kumar has stated that he had parked his two-wheeler (KA 09 ER 5284) in front of his house on April 18.  The following day, the bike was missing and all efforts made to trace it for one month yielded no results.
