Minister visits hospital to enquire after injured cops

Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara visited the CCB inspector and a constable who have been admitted at Nimhans following an injury in an accident.

The minister was there to enquire the health condition of inspector Anand Kabburi and constable Zabiullah, who are undergoing treatment for head injuries. Parameshwara said the the government would bear medical expenses of the two, and directed the hospital staff to provide best treatment.

Dr Badrinarayan, medical superintendent, Nimhans said that Anand is in the ICU, and recovering. Anand Kabburi and Zabiullah were injured in an accident that occurred when they were bringing a notorious chain-snatcher to the city after nabbing him at Pune on NH-4, near Tumakuru on July 21.
