Last Updated 28 July 2016, 17:07 IST

Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) — a part of the $17.8 billion Mahindra Group — on Thursday launched its first custom hiring centre for farm equipment rentals business, under its TRRINGO initiative.

Focused to bring in new-age digital technology to the tractor rental business, TRRINGO is expected to significantly increase the reach of farm mechanisation. The first centre was inaugurated by Karnataka Minister of Agriculture Krishna Byre Gowda at Hithnal Hobli, Kushtagi Taluka, Koppal district.

According to Arvind Kumar, CEO (TRRINGO), M&M, “As part of the MoU signed with the Karnataka government, we are pleased to inaugurate TRRINGO’s first custom hiring centre in Koppal. It will play a pivotal role in driving rural prosperity. Further, it will generate rural employment and help bridge the gap between requirement and availability.” TRRINGO, a first-of-its-kind farm equipment aggregator service, allows farmers to rent tractors and other mechanised farm equipment for completing their farming requirements without any investment.
