<p>God has lost faith on mankind and to destroy them he sent his angels, led by two of his ‘generals’— Angel Gabriel and Angel Michael. However, Angel Michael (Bettany) disobeys God’s order and chooses to protect pregnant waitress Charlie (Palicki) whose child, he believes, may hold the key to the continuity human civilisation. Most of film’s actions take place at a diner along a deserted highway and those present inside fought the zombie-like creatures with guns provided by Angel Michael. How long can they hold their grounds when super-strong Angel Gabriel (Durand) himself confronts his rebellious counterpart Angel Michael is a question they cannot answer.<br /><br />The plot of “Legion” is full of weird ideas and there are many questions left unanswered. The films appears to be a take on ‘battle of all battles’ to finish humans, but the settings and special effects do not reflect that. There is complete chaos with similar effects taken from ‘The Terminator’ and also from ‘Night of the Living Dead’. <br />There are also some senseless take on the baby of waitress Charlie. It is never explained why Angel Michael has such faith on this particular child. <br /><br />The film’s only saving grace is the cast which includes Dennis Quid who owns the diner in a deserted patch of a highway.
