New board chiefs to be named soon

The state government will take up the process of appointing chairpersons to various boards and corporations soon, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said.

Siddaramaiah told reporters in Bengaluru the 18-month tenure of the chairpersons appointed to boards and corporations will end on August 24.

New appointments would be made soon. He said it is for the party high command to decide on appointing a new president to the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.
