Woman's body found in suitcase thrown in drain

A highly decomposed body of a woman was found in a suitcase near Oxford College at Ullal Upanagar on Sunday evening.

Local residents noticed foul smell emanating from a drain near the college at Sir M Visvesvaraya Layout, 6th Block. In the drain, police found a suitcase and a body inside. A toe ring was found on the body. Police suspect the woman, aged around 25, was married.

They also suspect she was murdered four days ago. The killers may have packed the body in the suitcase before throwing it in the drain. Police are checking details of people who have gone missing in other parts of Bengaluru to identify the woman.
