<p>India’s P V Sindhu rode on her fine form to clinch the China Open Superseries Premier event in Fuzhou, China, on Sunday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Indian beat Sun Yu of China 21-11, 17-21, 21-11, to win her first-ever Superseries title.<br /><br />Coming on the back of a tiring three-game match in her semifinals, the Rio Olympics silver medallist showed no signs of fatigue as she zoomed her way through the opening game. <br /><br />Though Yu won the second game at 21-17, Sindhu didn’t let that affect her as she regrouped soon and was on top of her game in the third. Banking on her quick returns, smart shot selections and a handful of powerful smashes, the Indian shuttler wrapped up the third game 21-11 to win the tie.<br /><br />Easy 1st game<br />“The first game was very easy. I was playing her after two and a half years. She is also tall like me and we both are attacking players. I lost the second game and in the third I started well and from 11-7, I maintained the lead,” said Sindhu talking about the match.<br /><br />Saina Nehwal (in 2014) and Srikanth Kidambi (in 2014) are the other two Indians to win the China Open Superseries.<br /> </p>
