<p>Meher (26), a native of Kolkata and Vaibhav (23) from Punjab, both BE students of PES Institute of Technology in the City, were killed on the spot when their car rammed a road divider after the driver lost control near Varasandra on Sunday night. <br /><br />According to the police, the duo and their friend Pavan, who was grievously injured, were driving towards Thalaghattapura. The car, being driven at break-neck speed toppled after the accident Talaghattapura police have registered a case.<br /><br />In another mishap, police constable Manjunath (32) attached to Banashankari traffic police station, and his friend Anand (28) were killed on the spot when the bus of a private travel agency rammed their car from the opposite direction near Channenahalli Junction on NICE Road on Sunday night. <br /><br />In the third incident, an unidentified man, aged around 30, died after a speeding car hit him when he was crossing Hosur Road near KPN Travels at 11:10 pm on Tuesday night.</p>
