Special poojas mark Ugadi celebrations

Goddess Chowdeshwari, Gangamma, Pulekamma and Narasimhaswamy and Anjaneyaswamy bedecked in flowers were taken out in a procession in the main thoroughfare of the town. Devotees offered fruits and coconuts to the deities.

Keelukudare, Garudigombe and folk artist took part in the procession. Special poojas were offered at all the temples in the town.
