The Congress on Wednesday rolled out an elaborate plan to take the anti-demonetisation protests to the panchayat level over the next month.
The Congress will stage sit-in protests at 33 RBI offices across the country on January 18, which will be followed by state-level ‘Jan Vedana Sammelan’ to highlight the hardships caused by demonetisation. The party has also planned 5,000 interactive public meetings covering all Assembly constituencies to provide a platform for the people to express their anger against the anti-people policies of the Modi government.
