BSE IPO fully subscribed on day 2

BSE’s IPO has been fully subscribed on the second day of the issue. As per the latest data available on NSE, the exchange’s IPO has received bids for 1.67 crore shares against the issue size of 1.07 crore shares.

Of the bids received for 1.67 crore shares, bids for 1.22 crore shares have been received at the cut-off price. The issue had been subscribed 50% on day 1. As far as the break-up of bids for various categories are concerned, the retail portion got the best response with subscription for nearly 3 times the reserved portion.

The qualified institutional buyers and non institutional investors portion have been subscribed only 21% and 57% respectively at the end of Day 2. BSE is planning to raise Rs 1243 through its IPO which opened on January 23 and closes on January 25. The issue has a price band of Rs 805 to Rs 806 per share.
