Chipli, Patil take Swastic Union CC (1) into semis

Batting first, Swastic Union posted a formidable 197 for two in their allotted 20 overs and then managed to bundle out Jawahar for 122 in 19.5 overs.

Chipli smashed an unbeaten 96 while Patil scored 95 to guide Swastic to a good total.
HT Sudhir Rao (28) and Sahil (39) were the chief contributors in Jawahar’s reply but their efforts fell well short of what was required in the end.

Chetan William (2/15), N Vinoo Prasad (2/30), Udit Patel (2/16) and Amit Verma (2/28) shared the bowling spoils for Swastic Union.

It was a double delight for SUCC as they were joined in by their second team SUCC (2), who defeated Herons Cricket Club by eight runs.
Joining the two SUCC teams in the last four stage are Friends Union Cricket Club and Jawans Cricket Club.
