Man stabbed to death in front of wife, son

A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death by two unidentified persons in Begur on Sunday night.

The victim, identified as Arun Kumar, is a resident of Begur and a private firm employee.
He was returning home with his wife and son on a bike after visiting a church.

“All the three got down as the bike broke down. Arun was pushing the vehicle, while his wife and son were following him. The suspects came from the opposite direction, picked a fight with the victim and stabbed him repeatedly and fled,” the police said. 

“We suspect the involvement of  Santosh and Matthew, both residents of Begur, in the incident as they have absconded after the murder. We are searching for them,” the police added.

Further investigation is on.
