<p>Acharya Bangalore B School (ABBS) recently celebrated its annual inter-college cultural and literary fest ‘Regalia 2017’. <br /><br /></p>.<p>‘Regalia’ was a congregation of students from various national institutes, along with experts of national and international repute from the academia and industry, who participated in a variety of cultural and literary events. <br /><br />It was a mega event which included smaller events like group dance, music, fashion show, photography and other literary events.<br /><br /> The aim of the fest was to create awareness among the youth about the diversity of regional and international cultural talents and bring them to showcase their talent on a common platform. <br /><br />‘Regalia 2017’ witnessed a large gathering of students from all over Bengaluru and active participation in all the events. <br /><br />The literary events in the form of departmental competitions started in the morning with a bang. Events like ‘montage’, ‘photography’, ‘Pictionary’, ‘Connection-X’, ‘Personality Hunt’ and ‘Blur-computer games’ saw students competing with zeal and enthusiasm.<br /><br /> The highlight of the event was the presence of Sandalwood actor Ragini Dwivedi who was also the chief guest for the day. <br /><br />She graced the occasion during the evening cultural extravaganza. She arrived at the venue amidst cheers and a thundering applause by the students. <br /><br />The programme had competitions like group dance, solo dance, solo and duet song as well as a fashion show with the theme ‘Royals’.<br /><br /> The chief guest appreciated the quality of the various programmes and the talent of the students. <br /><br />She also interacted with all the students and reinstated the issues regarding women safety in Bengaluru and the need to be alert and make the city a safe place again for women to prosper. She also launched the trailer of her upcoming movie ‘Naane Next CM’.<br />Overall, it was an evening of amazing performances and unique display of talent.<br /><br /> Towards the end, all the winners in the different events were awarded by renowned judges from the field of performing arts.</p>
