The humour, which could have been more subtle, is entertaining though. <br /><br />The film revolves around its gay protagonist’s romantic dalliances as he pursues love, suffers a series of heartbreaks, and wonders about life’s purpose and salvation. He wades through six phases of mind’s quest — Kama (lust), Krodh (anger), Lobh (greed), Moh (attachment), Ahankar (ego) and Matsarya (envy). <br /><br />That the female leads paired with Srinivas, aka L K Balu (pun intended), have no qualms about uninhibitedly mouthing bawdy dialogues is bold for comfort and quite disconcerting. <br /><br />Despite sagging at times, Srinivasa Kalyana makes for a timepass watch over weekend, with ensemble acting by a convincing cast.
