Aptech, a global learning solutions company, is looking at closing FY17 by touching Rs 200 crore revenues with a growth rate of 25%.

Last year, the company crossed the Rs 160-crore mark.  According to Aptech CEO Anil Pant, “We are delighted with the growth seen in the last two quarters. This was supported by our retail business that saw increase in demand from tier II and tier III markets.”

The growth seen in the operating revenue, which stood at Rs 162 crore in the first nine months of FY17, compared with Rs 123 crore in the same period of FY16, was at 31%.

Looking at growth opportunities and potentials, Pant said, “We will be adding 200 more staff in the next two years.”

Currently, the company has 400 staff with presence in more than 40 emerging countries through its two main streams of businesses — individual training and enterprise business. Aptech recently forayed into preschool education, through a strategic alliance with Montana International Preschool. Branded Montana International Preschool powered by Aptech, the alliance intends to set up a chain of preschools in India over the next two years.

At present, Aptech has opened 50 MIPA centres across the country. “Soon, we will expand to over 500 centres,” Pant added.

As a leader in career education, it has over 1,300 centres of learning across the world. It commenced its education and training business in 1986, and has trained over 6.8 million students worldwide.
