No untoward incidents on Day 3 of II PU exams

 The second year pre-university exams continued on the third day without any untoward incidents.

Saturday was a quiet day with fewer students writing exams for the three subjects Logic, Basic Maths and Education. Satish K, a student of the Government Pre-University College for Boys, Malleswaram, found the Logic paper to be easy. “The questions were easy enough. It is my favourite subject so I am hoping to score 100 in it,” he said.

Another student, Emmanuel P, who wrote his exam in Vidya Mandir Pre-University College, said, “I finished half-an-hour early because it was easy. The questions which we had already practised in class were given.” Dhanush K was more worried about his next exam, Economics, to be held on March 16. “It is a tough subject and apparently a lot of students fail in it. Thankfully, we have enough time to prepare,” he said.

The director of the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), C Shikha, said that one student was debarred for malpractice in Davangere. Except this, the exams were conducted smoothly.

On Monday, the students will appear for Sociology and Accountancy papers.
