Krishna's BJP joining delayed

 Former chief minister S M Krishna could not join the BJP on Wednesday as per earlier announcement as he had to rush to Bengaluru on hearing the news of the demise of his sister.

As per the earlier schedule, Krishna was supposed to join BJP on Wednesday in the presence of its national president Amit Shah. He had arrived in the national capital on Tuesday evening. However, his sister Sunitha died on Tuesday night and he returned to Bengaluru on Wednesday morning.
