Boy injured as tree branch falls on him

A 14-year-old boy was injured after a tree branch fell on him at Nettakallappa Circle in Basavanagudi on Friday evening.

Pujith, a resident of Vinayaknagar in Banashankari 1st Stage and a Class VIII student of a local school was shifted to a nearby private hospital. He is said to be out of danger.

According to the police, the incident occurred when Pujith had come to a hotel near Nettakallappa Circle along with his father Madhusudhan. Madhusudhan parked his two-wheeler and went inside the hotel. As Pujith was following his father, the tree branch crashed on him. However, no complaint was lodged with the police.
