Lok Sabha Elections 2024 (Bengaluru updates) | City averages at 56% voter turnout, Tejasvi Surya booked for 'soliciting votes on religious grounds'
Good evening readers! Voter turnout has been comparatively low in Bengaluru than others parts of Karnataka in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections today. The 5 pm data showed that the three constituencies of Bangalore South, North and Central logged just under 50 per cent of votes while the rest of Karnataka recorded more, averaging at 63.90%. A case has been lodged against BJP MP Tejasvi Surya for posting a video on 'X' and soliciting votes on the ground of religion.
