KSRTC to ply extra buses for holiday season

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will run more than 250 additional buses on several intra and interstate routes to cater to expected rise in demand in view of Ambedkar Jayanti/Good Friday.

The additional buses will run from Thursday to Saturday and special buses will run from various places to Bengaluru in the return direction on Sunday.

Special buses will be exclusively operated from Kempegowda Bus Station to Dharmashtala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Pavgad, Hosadurga and other places.

Special buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri routes.

All premier special buses will be operated from Shanthinagar BMTC Bus Stand to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

The details of the special services like place and departure timings have been provided in the computerised advance reservation network and KSRTC website. Passengers can book tickets at reservation counters or online.
