He beat China’s Zhang Jiankang 5-3 (15-67, 84-0, 56-80, 90 (89)-28, 72-36, 39-81, 72-09, 88 (80)-0).<br /><br />In the women’s Asian Snooker Championship, Amee Kamani beat compatriot Varshaa Sanjeev 3-2 (53-79, 66-0, 23-71 (63), 78 (58)-18, 68-9) to enter the semifinals.
