Four people were killed and six others injured in a serial accident involving a car and two bikes on the outskirts of Jewargi town on Monday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Yallappa Ayyappa Pujari (24), a resident of Mulla (B), Hamid Tayasab Nayikodi (25), his wife Nousheen Begum (25) and his son Afroz (3), residents of Nelogi village in Jewargi taluk. Begum died in a private hospital in Kalaburagi on Monday evening. Kalaburagi Rural DySP S S Hullur, Jewargi CPI H M Ingaleshwar and PSI Pradeep Bheese visited the spot.
