Indian Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director M S Sundara Rajan recently met with Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to inform him about the Bank’s plan in the state.
He informed that Indian Bank, which has 75 branches spread all over the state, will open five more branches in next three months and another five branches by the end of this year. Indian Bank’s total number of branches in Karnataka will cross 100 in next two years. Rajan said the Bank’s emphasis will be on opening of new branches in hitherto unbanked areas.
