<div align="justify">Close on the heels of alleged lynching of a Muslim boy in a train in Haryana, yet another Muslim family was assaulted and their women allegedly molested in a train in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district, about 300 kilometres from here.<br /> <br />According to the police sources, the incident occurred on Wednesday night, when the passenger train, that runs between Farrukhabad and Shikohabad in the state, left Bhogaon station in Mainpuri.<br /> <br />Police said that a group of miscreants, who boarded the train at Bhogaon, allegedly assaulted the Muslim family. They snatched their cell phones and also looted cash and valuables.<br /> <br />The women members of the family were allegedly groped and their clothes were torn by the miscreants, the police said.<br /> <br />Mohammed Shakir, the head of the 10-member family, who were returning home after attending a wedding, alleged that the miscreants numbered around 30 and they barged into their coach after breaking the window panes.<br /> <br />He also alleged that the miscreants spoke about their (family) religion as the women were in veil. The police, however, denied that the family was targeted as they were Muslims.<br /> <br />A case was lodged with the GRP at Mainpuri and four youths were detained in this connection.
