Govt schools to run kindergarten classes soon

Government schools may soon run kindergarten classes, with the Centre recently asking all the states to consider attaching anganwadi centres to the primary schools.

“A joint letter in this regard has been issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Ministry of Women and Child Development to the chief secretaries of the states, asking them to initiate the integration of anganwadis with the schools,” a ministry official said.
