JOIN USA 36-year-old builder was arrested for molesting a 15-year-old minor on the pretext of dropping her home from school on Saturday.
The suspect Afzal Hussain had befriended the victim’s brother while visiting a construction site close to the victim's house. According to police, “On Saturday, Hussain met the girl near her school and offered to drop her home. After she got into the car, he drove to a secluded place and began touching her inappropriately. The girl after reaching home complained to her mother about Hussain’s indecent behaviour. The parents of the victim lodged a complaint with Pulakeshinagar police.
In her statement to the police, the victim has said that Hussain had molested her in the past and had also forced her to watch porn videos. He had threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed about the incidents to anyone. Hussain used to come to the construction spot where the victim's brother worked.
He used to strike conversations with the girl and her family members. Also, he started to stalk her whenever she was out of house and used to take her in his car. Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s parents, the Pulakeshinagar police have arrested Hussain and booked him under Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The suspect has been remanded in judicial custody.
