Army man ends life after killing 2 daughters

A 32-year-old Army man committed suicide on Tuesday after poisoning his two daughters reportedly over marital discord.

The incident took place at Harish’s house in Hennur, the police said.

Harish, who had joined the Army last year, was posted in Assam. He was in the city to attend the last rites of his father, who died in July.

Harish had a misunderstanding with his wife Sangeetha and had frequent quarrels with her.
He administered poison to his two daughters, identified as Rajitha (6) and Kiritika (4). Later, he committed suicide by hanging himself. He has not blamed anyone in his suicide note, said the police.
