<p>The police may request the court to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to N R Santosh, relative-cum-personal assistant of state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa.<br /><br />“Santosh is not cooperating with the investigating team. He is making contradictory statements. He is denying his role despite police sharing strong evidences against him,” said a police officer.<br /><br />The police have arrested 10 persons, including two rowdies, for attempting to abduct BJP leader K S Eshwarappa’s personal assistant Vinay.<br /><br />Santosh has been claiming that he was not acquainted with the 10 suspects arrested, so far. The police consider it necessary to interrogate Santosh thoroughly and plan to arrest him.<br /><br />The police on Sunday detained Umakanth, a history-sheeter, on a body warrant for questioning in connection with the case.
