'Learn art form to de-stress'

Addressing students at the valedictory function of ‘Chitrasrushti’, a free summer camp organised by Chitrakala Trust, he said: “You have learnt drawing, clay modelling, collage, drawing on sand, making greeting cards and many other forms of visual art. Practice them during your free hours and do not forget them.”

He added that involving oneself in some form of art helps to deal with the stressful situations in day-to-day life. “Poetry, music, visual and fine art forms rejuvenate people. Students should learn some form of art,” he remarked./

Head Mistress of Suvarna School Saroja spoke at the event. K S Ganesh and B Suresh were the guests. Trust president Shashikanth, M Nagaraj, N Vishnukumar were present.
Creations of the participants were displayed at the event and the best participants were awarded.
