Demolished

According to BMRCL officials, the land spread across an area of 2900 sq mtr was notified for acquisition by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board for the  Metro project a few years ago.

While majority of the families had moved out earlier, 22 families were still holding on, despite being provided alternate housing accommodation at Peenya. So, we had to demolish the remaining houses. The piers (pillars) of the project will come up on the demolished place, BMRCL officials said .
