A 21-year-old rider was killed on the spot, while another rider was injured in a collision between two bikes on Arakere Road at Kodihalli hobli in Kanakapura taluk, Ramanagaram district, on Sunday. The victim is Pradeep, a resident of Arakere.
The accident occurred in front of a private school near Garlapur. Abhishek, also a resident of Arakere, lost control of his bike and collided it with that of Pradeep, who was coming in the opposite direction.
They were taken to a nearby hospital, where Pradeep was declared dead on arrival. Abhishek was shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, police said.
