Then this place is where you need to be. ‘Fish Factory’ in Citrus, located on Cunningham Road, is a paradise for all seafood lovers. This place gives one an option to choose their favourite seafood delicacy, from the range of exotic options they have, sans the strong fishy smell.

With about 10 tables, the quaint place is dominated by vertical gardens. The floor too has a spread of lush green carpet grass.

As you step into the restaurant, you will be greeted with a glass of complimentary in-house wine and a basket of bread along with two different types of butter. And also a shot of ‘Lobster bisque soup’.

While you are enjoying your glass of wine, take a quick walk towards the freezer stocked with fresh seafood. If the variety leaves you confused about what to order, the sous chef Nachiket will be available to help you decide. The place has an open cooking concept. They have a small portable kitchen that is brought to the table and the grilling and cooking is done in front of the customers.

Start your meal with the classic ‘Calamari salt and pepper’. The perfectly-spiced squid goes well with the red wine too. You can also ask for a glass of mojito to go with it. While you enjoy the soft and delectable calamari, look forward to a delicious plate of ‘Tandoori quail’. The meat was well cooked and absolutely lip-smacking. The right amount of spice makes it a good option for a starter. Try not to fill yourself up as this starts the beginning.

Wait for the chef to serve you the freshly cooked ‘Black pomfret in peri-peri sauce’. Unlike the otherwise hot peri-peri, the level of spiciness was quite low, which can be a blessing for all pomfret lovers to enjoy this deliciously cooked fish. You can also ask for ‘Lobster with BBQ sauce’ which tastes quite good too. The best part is you can choose not only the seafood but also the different sauces of your choice. Opt for a bowl of ‘Herbed rice’ to go with continental fish dishes and you will not regret.

Though these dishes are enough to fill you up, you can also explore the menu further by ordering a bowl of ‘Fish biryani’ or other fish curries like served with white rice.

End your hearty meal with ‘Bubble waffle’ served with chocolate syrup and a scoop of ice cream. The waffle served is oven-hot and quite soft too. You can also try the ‘Tiramisu’ or the ‘Lemon cheesecake’ to satiate your sweet tooth.
