<p>While the entire Opposition is baying for BJP president Amit Shah’s son’s blood, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday feigned ignorance.<br /><br />“Mujhe iss baat ki jankari nahin hai (I have not read or seen the report),” said Nitish, on the sidelines of his weekly Lok Samwad (public interaction).<br /><br />When specifically asked whether he was evading a reply as he was running his government with the support of the BJP, Nitish said he had dumped the RJD because of corruption charges levelled against its leaders.<br /><br />“You media people can conduct a survey throughout Bihar. You will then find how people are happy with the JD(U)-BJP alliance,” said Nitish.<br /><br />The JD(U) chief walked out of the grand alliance (along with the RJD and the Congress) in Bihar on July 26.<br /><br />He took oath as chief minister again the following day with the support of the BJP-led NDA.</p>
