<p>A complaint has been registered with the Lokayukta against Shivamurthy Naik, Congress MLA from Mayakonda constituency in Davangere district, for abusing Rajendra Kumar Kataria, the commerce and industries secretary.<br /><br />The MLA had abused the officer for not granting a granite mining licence to his son Suraj S Naik. Siddalingegowda, a native of Tumakuru, had filed a complaint saying that dedicated and sincere officers were being abused by some elected representatives.</p>
