NITKconvocation today

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, will hold its 16th annual convocation on Saturday at 3 pm in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium to confer degrees on the students passed out in the year 2016-17.

According to a press release, SF World Executive Chairman and Founder Dr Ganesh Natarajan will deliver the convocation address.

At the convocation, degrees will be awarded to total 1,523 students of BTech, MTech, MTech (Research), MCA, MBA, MSc and PhD programmes who graduated during the academic year 2016-17.

A total of 823 students will be awarded BTech Degree, 616 students will be awarded Masters Degree, 26 students will be awarded MTech (Research) Degree and 58 students will be awarded Doctoral Degree during the convocation. This year 36 students will be decorated with endowment gold and silver medals, and 2 students will be felicitated with cash prizes.

To watch convocation, live web streaming of graduation ceremony has been arranged to Institute's Website and on separate screen outdoor of the Silver Jubilee Auditorium for the convenience of parents and graduates.
