Seventeen people were injured, two of them seriously, after a private bus crashed into a roadside tree at Byyappanahalli village near Dibburahalli in Shidlaghatta taluk, Chikkaballapur district, early on Thursday morning.
The driver lost control of the bus and crashed it into the tree.
Two of the injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru while others were taken to a government hospital from where they were discharged after being given first aid.
