Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on the sideline of the East Asia Summit in Manila later this month.

New Delhi and Beijing are in touch to explore possibilities of a bilateral meeting between Modi and Li when the two leaders will be in capital city of Philippines to attend the ASEAN outreach meetings and the East Asia Summit, which will be held between November 10 and 14.    Modi may meet Li in Manila. Relations between the two neighbours was further strained this week as China once again blocked India's efforts to get the United Nations impose sanctions on Masood Azhar – the founder and leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terrorist outfit based in Pakistan.
