The Mangalore Management Association will confer the MMA Outstanding Manager Award to Shree Devi Educational Institutions Chairman A Sadananda Shetty.
Briefing reporters here, president Marcel Monteiro said that the award will be given away at Ocean Pearl in Mangaluru on November 23. Shetty is a self-made entrepreneur who has excelled as an educationist. He has been instrumental in promoting sports activities in the district. He is the Karnataka state president of Powerlifting Federation and vice president of Karnataka State Association of Shuttle Badminton, Basketball and Kabaddi.
The award will be conferred by Mangalore University VC Prof K Byrappa and Hampi Kannada University former VC Dr B A Viveka Rai.
