Arvind makes return to Ranji squad

After missing four straight games in the group stage, experienced pacer S Arvind was back in the Karnataka side for their Ranji Trophy quarterfinal clash against Mumbai in Nagpur from December 7.

The left-arm seamer had opted for rest after playing against Assam and Hyderabad.

Karnataka will miss the services of seasoned batsman Manish Pandey who is set to join the national side for the limited overs series against Sri Lanka.  Mir Kaunain Abbas comes in place of the senior batsman. Opener K L Rahul, part of the Indian Test side, will also be unavailable for the tie.

Mayank Agarwal, who has been prolific with the bat notching five centuries on the trot, leads the tournament run charts with 1064 runs, while K Gowtham is Karnataka's most successful bowler with 27 scalps.
